Welcome

A new playground. Wood play area. Sun shades. And more. Welcome to the website of the Friends of Hamble Primary School, a group of volunteers working to organise and assist with fund raising events that allow these purchases and more.

Our most recent successes include the repainting of the infant playground during the summer of 2009, at a cost of £2,000. The exciting and stimulating design gives additional playtime fun to our infant and reception classes which we hope will last for years to come.

We are also thrilled to have fulfilled our pledge to replace the Timber Trail in the junior playground. The wooden play equipment had become so worn and out of date that it was simply no longer cost effective to keep repairing it. A new wood play area opened in April 2010 at a cost of almost £20,000.

Together we really can make a difference. You've proven it!

We are grateful to the superb pupils, parents, relations, friends, teachers and to the local businesses that support us. We ensure that every penny possible continues to go directly into making these much needed projects happen and operate under the guidelines published here.
