Friends of Hamble Primary School
Working together for the children of Hamble Primary School
After a lot of hard work FOS has raised enough money to pay for a new timber trail.
Work to install the new equipment has now been completed much to the enjoyment of the children.

At the Hamble Week AGM the committee made a substantial donation to FOS. This was mainly due to the work Julie Sneddon and Lisa Smith put into Hamble Week 2009. FOS are hoping to be even more involved with Hamble Week 2010. Julie and Lisa have joined the Hamble Week committee for 2010

All monies have now been received and costs paid out for the 2008 Christmas events. The Christmas Fayre and Santa’s Road Show raised a total of £1,567.73 During November 2008, the Pumpkin Ball raised £600 & the Co-op donation of £500 meant that we raised £1,100 Hence in the bank for Nov & Dec efforts totals £2,667.73 So well done everyone. This is fantastic.

Thank you to everyone who supported and of course organised the 2008 Santa Roadshow. Through the efforts of all concerned, an amazing £600 was raised to benefit the school. Fantastic!

Well it may have been a somewhat soggy start but the new academic year is now well and truly underway with the Infants enjoying their freshly painted playground. If you have not yet seen the new markings, do wander round and take a look. Friends of Hamble Primary will be gathering for their first meeting of the new school year at 9am on Thursday 11th September. Come and join us in the community room at the school. We hope to see you there.

We're thrilled to be able to announce that we now have enough money to financially support one of our two objectives and enable the painting of the infant playground. We expect this work to be undertaken over the 2008 Summer Holiday. Thank you to every person that has involved themselves in our events to date, be you organiser or supporter. This really is a fantastic result that will benefit and stimulate our reception and infant pupils for years to come. Thank you. You did it!

A huge, huge thank you to everyone who helped with the organising and running of the many events seen at this years fantastic May Fair, and of course to you for attending and ensuring that the event was a resounding success.

Held in March 2008, the Wild Welly Walk raised a fantastic amount toward the infant playground project. Thank you all for your valuable donations, with special thanks to all staff, parents and prefects who made this hugely enjoyable event possible.
